UPS is paying union-busters $2,625 a day in lead up to contract negotiations

As UPS drivers deal with unprecedented temperatures, lack of air conditioning, and being told by management to simply drink more water and eat watermelon, their employer is shelling out $2,625 a day (plus expenses) to anti-union consultants.

Recent filings with the U.S. Department of Labor reveal a disturbing escalation in UPS' assault on worker rights. For example, one filing reviewed by LaborLab this week shows UPS funneling $2,625 a day to union-busting consultants Luisa Perez and Peter List, a man who subscribes to the debunked QAnon conspiracy theory.

The reason UPS is ramping up its attack on workers' Section 7 Rights is because the company and union employees represented by the Teamsters are gearing up for what is expected to be a massive contract fight.
