According to records filed with the U.S. Department of Labor on July 8 and reviewed by LaborLab, Keurig Dr Pepper based in Grand Rapids, Michigan has hired a union-busting consulting firm (Flores Labor Relations Inc.) to conduct captive audience meetings with workers attempting to exercise their legally protected right to unionize.
Nicole Wong, an operations manager for Keurig Dr Pepper based in Virginia, signed a contract with Flores Labor Relations Inc. on July 8, 2022. However, the union-busting began on June 20, 2022.
Flores Labor Relations has brought in Jason Greer of Greer Consulting to manage the captive audience meetings. Jason Greer will earn $250/hr. as compensation for pressuring Grand Rapids workers against unionizing.
Hiring anti-worker rights consultants is a common union-busting tactic.
According to records with the Department of Labor, workers in Grand Rapids are attempting to organize with RWDSU 386.
